Hindalco Industries Limited:

Hindalco Industries Limited (HIL), the metals flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group is the world's largest aluminium rolling company and one of the biggest producers of primary aluminium in Asia. Its copper smelter is amongst the largest single location custom smelter globally.  The company was established in 1958 and commissioned an aluminium facility in Renukoot in eastern Uttar Pradesh, India, in 1962. Later acquisitions and mergers, with Indal, Birla Copper and the Nifty and Mt. Gordon copper mines in Australia, strengthed their position in value-added aluminia, aluminium and copper products. Grasim Industries Limited is a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, ranks amongst India's largest private sector companies. Grasim started as a textile manufacturer in 1948. UltraTech Cement Limited has an installed capacity of 63 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA). Hindalco Almex Aerospace

Hindalco-Almex Aerospace Limited (HAAL) manufactures high-strength aluminium alloys for applications in the aerospace, sporting goods and surface transport industries. This is a first-of-its-kind facility in India, which is exclusively devoted to high- performance aluminium alloys. With state-of-the-art technologies in casting, homogenising, machining and ultrasonic testing, HAAL is a futuristic plant. Emphasis has been laid on use of clean fuel and efficient technologies reflecting HAAL’s concern for the health of its community, its people and the environment.

Birla Copper

Hindalco Industries Limited, through Birla Copper, has set up a mega Greenfield Copper Smelting and Refining complex at Dahej in Bharuch district of Gujarat, INDIA. The plant with an investment of Rs. 25,000 in Millions, Produces world class copper cathodes, continuous cast copper Rods & Precious Metals. Apart from Copper products, Sulphuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Di-Ammonium Phosphate and other Phosphatic Fertilizers are also produced. The plant has its own Power Plant and Jetty to meet its infrastructure requirement.
